Cause Engagement and Brand Management:

MANIFEST ARTISTS

In Haiti, artists inhabit two realms. In one, the world they create through their art, they give voice to the frustrations of a nation while delivering calls to action. They envision beauty and justice, and they give it form; whether it is through paint, beads, dance, poetry, music, and cloth, or blood, sweat and tears. In the second, the world that has created them, they live with the struggles of life in Haiti. They breathe in the frustrations and anguish of their country and face challenges to realize their dream, like every Haitian. Then they translate the tension of the street, the longing for freedom and a better life, into unforgettable songs, performances, and canvases.

Our mission at Manifest is to highlight and promote the richness of Haiti’s culture, talent, art, and natural beauty. At the same time, we recognize the systems that keep artists from achieving higher levels of success in Haiti and abroad. Manifest works with artists to challenge the status quo in their industry while increasing their impact on issues that matter most to them.

The level of talent that Haitians bring to the world is astounding and amplifying the voices of artists has the power to truly change the narrative on Haiti. We envision a future where artists are compensated with fair value for their work and honored for their contributions to a better Haiti.

Manifest offers two core services to artists:

  1. Cause Engagement: With decades of experience working with non-profit organizations in Haiti and abroad, Manifest is uniquely positioned to facilitate relationships between artists and organizations and groups that are carrying out meaningful work that embodies their principles and vision. Many campaigns and initiatives seek celebrity support and through Manifest, artists can be sure they will connect with credible opportunities and serious collaborators that address critical issues with a long-term vision.

  2. Brand Management: Manifest offers support starting with brand development, including strategy for messaging and sponsors/partners, all the way to helping maintain social media and online presence, facilitating meetings and communication with the private sector, NGOs and government institutions, and managing ongoing partnerships.

Not every artist is a Manifest Artist. Our services are tailored to talented individuals whose body of work aligns with our values and mission in Haiti. Each of the current Manifest Artists has worked to break through barriers in their industry and to lift up Haiti in a positive light in everything that they do. They embody integrity and excellence in their field and are committed to contributing to a better Haiti.
